Maximizing July 4th Earnings

The dancer gods must be smiling upon us because 4th of July lands on a Saturday, which means most people have Friday July 3rd off WHICH MEANS people are likely to start their patriotic fueled bender on Thursday night. Many people spend the actual 4th with their families or spend the day day drinking and get too plastered to make it in the club, so it's important to lock in this Thursday and Friday night. Depending on your location, this can be a very financially lucrative weekend but even if you don't anticipate your club to be popping there's still a variety of ways to capitalize on this holiday. 

As a general PSA, it's worth noting that many of us may not be feeling super patriotic given the political climate and that's ok! Regardless of where you stand, remember that it's our job to compartmentalize and not let our personal feelings get in the way of securing the bag. 

Be on theme!

It's all about red, white and blue baby! Look the part by incorporating red, white & blue in this weekends fits. Dressing on theme is a great icebreaker that will have customers noticing. If you don’t want to take the American flag color story too literally, wear accents like shoes or a purse or opt for different shades like scarlet or teal. 

Utilize Patriotic Banter

This is a holiday that revolves around freedom and there's an endless supply of witty one liners that you can work into your sales pitch. Here are a few of our favorites: 

“What better way to celebrate 250 years of freedom than by popping a bottle of bubbly in VIP together!”

“Our country fought for your right to spend time with me!”

“Our founding fathers would’ve wanted us to spend the holiday in VIP all night!”

Feel free to tailor any of these to your liking! 

Men in Uniform

If your club is near a military base, then you know that these boys love to spend! Cater to them by showing interest in their role, offer words of affirmation for the major responsibilities they carry out and tell them that you’d love to “Thank them for their service” by taking them to the champagne room! 

Keep it Civil

Politics can be very polarizing and it’s generally not a good topic to engage in while working in the club. If someone with an opposing viewpoint is trying to get into it, deflect and redirect the conversation elsewhere.

If someone who shares your same values wants to have a healthy discussion, that’s fine but be sure that it turns into a sale unless they would like to compensate you for conversing with them for a longer period of time.
